This paper is supplemental to [1] and presents an example for the application of the statistical methods correlation and regression analysis in the transportation studies using Microsoft? Excel[5]. By means of the considered example are shown the advantages of using modern calculating programs and tools, such as Excel spreadsheets, as a possible alternative for the application of the discussed in [1] and the present paper statistical methods in establishing existing relationships and dependencies between random quantities.
