FUZZY LOGIC INTELLIGENT SOLUTIONS FOR BATTERY CHARGE CONTROL

Elena Dimkina

In this paper fuzzy logic is portrayed as a logical method for battery charging, in order to keep the battery’s good shape. Fuzzy logic is used to optimize and improve these devices. A compare has been made between old traditional methods and the new methods using fuzzy logic. The results show that the system using the new methods can reduce the time for charging and the temperature during it. While using fuzzy logic, the elements in the charger are able to charge the mobile devices with great efficiency with and a little increase in the temperature. A plus is that it also increases the life of the battery. Thanks to fuzzy logic, it is possible to describe the behavior of complex systems with the help of a linguistic variable and, on their basis, to make managerial and life-saving decisions. This method is used in automation, medicine and areas with involvement of artificial intelligence.
