Dangerous goods are objects and/or substances which, transported by air, may endanger health, safety, property or the environment. Airlines, freight forwarders, ground handlers and all participants in the transport chain rely on the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations - IATA DGR, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Technical Instructions (TI) on the Safe Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Air - Document 9284- AN/905 and the International Air Transport Organization (IATA) Regulations.

The report examines some of the processes related to the commercial operation of transporting dangerous goods by air, including conditions and ments for transportation as well as documents and rules for transportation. Safety measures and emergency release measures during the transport of harmful substances are also considered. The topic related to the training of the personnel of transport and forwarding companies dealing with the transportation of dangerous goods was also examined.
