INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES FOR WINTER MAINTENANCE OF THE STREET NETWORK
Nikolay Kyuchukov The report presents the preparation for winter maintenance of the street network of Sofia Municipality. As well as a new approach to making real-time operational solutions to support the street grid. In order to increase the efficiency in the process and decrease of the treated areas of boulevards, streets and municipal roads in winter conditions which will lead to cost reduction for winter maintenance and as well as reduction in air pollution by optimizing movement of snow-cleaning vehicles.
