MODEL FOR QUASI-STATIC ENTRY OF A TRAM BOGIE IN A CURVED STRETCH OF ROAD

A method for quasi-static entry of the tram’s bogie moving in the curved section of the road has been developed. In consideration have been taken the components of the sliding speed and the resulting tangential forces in the contact points "wheel-rail", rotating wheelset in the horizontal plane and the angle of attack of the attacking wheelset. Analytical apparatus is constructed taking into account possible shifts in the system basket-frame-wheelsets-road. The resulting dependencies are convenient for studying of the horizontal links in the chassis of light rail rolling stock (tramway), which are intended for modernization and construction of new products and will result in significant improvements to the dynamic road performance, reduce the intensity of wear on the rims of the wheels and the rails, improve road safety and limit speeds and reduce costs and risks of breaking the track and rolling stock. The numerical experiments show the applicability of the exhibitions model for determining the characteristics of the tram bogie T81 and the possibility of its optimization.
