Nikolay M. Nikolov The paper examines innovation in its nature and characteristics in the transport company management The four steps to develop innovative management are defined and the types of innovation are examined and classified according to the mode of application, the type of results and approaches in the the transport company management. The innovation process and organizational culture are displayed as stages and means to achieve innovative management of the transport company. The sustainable innovation in transport activities, objectives and tools to achieve sustainable innovative development of the transport company are also characterised.
