![]() SHEAR STIFFNESS FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE ELEMENTS, DESIGNED ACCORDING TO EUROCODE 2
Borislav Daalov The displacements for small span/depth ratio, caused by shear focses, for reinforced concrete elements can reach 15 – 30 % from displacements caused by bending moments only. A prescriptions are not given in Eurocode 2 for determining shear stiffness. Formula for shear stiffness of cracked sections was derived by using the truss model for determining shear capacity.
