Dear colleagues,

It is 10 years since the establishment of Mechanics, Transport, Communication journal. This is a serious period for scientific journal that is published both in electronic and paper version.

The journal is established in 2003 under the project “New Activities in the Virtual Space of the Center of Research, Information and International Academic Mobility” and signed contract with Open Society Foundation, under Education Program. Then it was the first electronic scientific journal. The days were hard and if we did not have the financial support of the Foundation, the implementation of this project would not be possible. On behalf of all who love the journal and publish their scientific achievements in it I would like to express gratitude to Open Society Foundation for the timely support as we celebrate this anniversary today due to it.
