The paper presents a theoretical model to examine the horizontal connections in rolling stock wheeled part, which are used to develop adequate technical solutions (diagrams of connections and their construction developments) intended to modernize and build new articles. The numerical experiments according to the models presented have shown their applicability to determining the features of the passenger bogie of GP200 type and the possibility of its optimization.
