METHODOLOGY FOR DETERMINING ACTING ON THE CRANKHAFT FORCES AND MOMENTS

This paper presents a simple thermodynamic model to determine the gas force and accurate (without approximation) determine the inertial force. Based on this the total force and torque on the one-cylinder and four-cylinder four-stroke internal combustion engines are found.
