A System оf Measuring Static Locomotive Wheel Loading аnd Methods оf Reducicing Differences

The paper explains the negative consequences from the differences in loading of the locomotive wheels on the parameters of the wheeled part reaction to the track disturbances. It has been established that the probability of the differences being within the admissible tolerance is less than one. It imposes the necessity to measure the static load of wheels and the performance of operations in the spring system in order to minimize the differences. The paper presents also data of the measuring system used for that purpose: force sensors, a local information network where the sensors are connected to, as well as the main stages of the spring system regulation technology.
