FAULT TOLERANT CONFIGURATION FOR COMPUTER BASED BRAKE SYSTEMS OF RAILWAY VEHICLES

The paper presents a computer configuration that is suitable for distributed control systems where fault tolerance is required. Configuration is designed for implementation mainly standard components with the exception of one relatively small device called a fault-tolerant control configuration (FTCC), which requires greater redundancy. Block draws closer loops control as tightly as possible controlled by a physical device, gaining from the redundant computing capacity, which has a distributed system, but at the same time eliminating the impact of increased intensity of faults by the increased number of processing elements.
