CAD SOFTWARE NX AND SOLID EDGE WITH SYNCHRONOUS TECHNOLOGY

The key capabilities of the Synchronous Technology have been described showing the synergy of the history based CAD and the explicit modeling and avoiding disadvantages during the modeling process. Means of modeling given by synchronous technology such as live rules which are operative during editing 3D geometry, procedural features allowing flexible change of the pa-rameters of pattern, hole, thinwall (shell), driving dimension with directional control whish can be added to completed model, editing of parametrically constrained model by formulae for high level automation to be achieved, as well as synchronous solving which is incorporated within the base of the process of explicit 3D modeling and editing in real time have been considered. Ways of work with the means of synchronous technology include integrated 2D and 3D sketching, region-based design, feature collections, 3D parametric design, steering wheel and 3D drag handles have been described. Work with imported models and many other possibilities as well as the entire process of modeling with synchronous technology based on the synchronous solving in real time have been considered. The synchronous technology gives the opportunity to create a model with both explicit (direct) modeled features and history-based features. The synchronous technology also gives the opportunity to model assembly units. Means, way of work, principles and methods incorporated into synchronous technology algorithms makes learning and working easy and intuitive and more productive. Editing of imported models, 3D driving dimensions, procedural features, feature collec-tion, patterns as well as synchronous solve have been discussed.
