Application Of Multiple Correlation In Analysing The Prime Cost Haulage In Railway Transportation

Violeta Makedonska

The prime cost is one of the basic qualitative indicators reflecting the entire economic activity in railway transportation. In the research of prime costs may be employed multiple correlation via constructing concrete mathematical- statistical model. The said model aims to appropriately substantiate and determine the influence of specific factors on prime costs. The undertaken research is an attempt to clarify this interrelation which is characteristically narrow. This conclusion gives the grounds for making presumptions about the more through research and application of the multiple correlation method in investigating the interdependence between prime costs and other similar factors in railway transportation.
