In this paper, presented is a State of the Art Survey on passenger inter-modality, where the main focus is on the EC policy in this sector. A number of projects and commissioned studies being conducted within FP5, FP6 and FP7are reviewed. More specifically, for the purposes of this discussion, the objectives, scope-of-work as well as expected results in terms of each reviewed project/study are regarded. We wrap up this paper with conclusions and further perspectives.
