INVESTIGATION OF THE INFLUENCE OF OPERATING TEMPERATURE AND MOUNTING STRESSES OF METAL-RUBBER ELEMENTS OF ROLLING STOCK

The static characteristic of metal-rubber elements of rolling stock is influenced by a number of parameters, one of which is the operating temperature and the installation pre-tensions. The development considers the influence of temperature and pre-pressure more separately and simultaneously. The influence of temperature on the geometrical nonlinearity of rubber elements is considered. Dependencies of stiffness on temperature and pre-pressure are obtained for a model metal-rubber element of spring suspension of rolling stock.
