LOGISTICS IN INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT – STATUS AND PERSPECTIVES
Ilia Gatev, Emiliya Vaysilova This report presents key aspects shaping the state of logistics in international transport, as well as the outlook in this dynamic sector. To clarify the state of logistics in international transport, several issues are considered. First, the impact of the various regulations and standards that play an essential role in determining how the movement of goods, materials and information is organized and managed internationally is presented. Their importance is paramount to ensure safety, efficiency and compliance with the legal ments of various countries. Secondly, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on logistics in international transport is tracked.
To clarify the prospects for logistics in international transport, issues related to the influence of technological progress advocated in the automation and digitization of processes are considered, impact of environmental ments with a focus on environmental responsibility to introduce stricter environmental standards for logistics in international transport.
