POSSIBILITIES OF USING FILTER COMPENSATING DEVICES IN ELECTRICITY SUPPLY SYSTEMS OF INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES
Panchev H.I., Duganov M.S., Lukov M.L. Filter compensating devices (FCU) are designed to increase the quality of electrical energy (EE) and achieve effective compensation of reactive loads. The work presents and analyzes the circuit and technical layouts for the implementation of the FCU, composed of one unit and several units. A study of parallel and series passive and active filters was carried out according to energy efficiency criteria. A classification was made based on convectors, topology, type of power supply system and control algorithm. Application-specific active filters are analyzed depending on the type of compensation, considering current, voltage and mixed compensation, representing a combination of active parallel and active series filter. Methodological guidelines for calculating and optimizing the parameters of the FCU are presented.
