INVESTIGATING THE INFLUENCE OF THE EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION LEVEL OF MACHINISTS IN THE UNDERGROUND RAILWAY (METRO) ON ENERGY EFFICIENCY - DEPOT ”ZEMLYANE”

The metro trains serving line 3 of the metropolitan metro are equipped with automatic traction and braking control. However, it is not uncommon for the driver to operate the train in a controlled manual mode. In this control, the technique of guiding a train differs from automatic control and the human factor is greatly increased, which can lead to increased energy consumption. The psychological state of the driver, his qualification, education and experience are essential in the management of traction rolling stock. For this purpose the qualification and education level of drivers in underground railway, metro are studied. The results of the analysis of 14 train drivers with different level of qualification and education are presented in this paper.
