UPGRADE OF THE ”TRAINING COMPLEX” AT THE UNIVERSITY ”TODOR KABLESHKOV” TO STUDY THE INFLUENCE OF BLINDING ON THE SENSORIMOTOR SKILLS OF ETS DRIVERS
Dilyana Mitseva, Petko Kostadinov, Hari Filchev Metropolitan metro transport plays a major role in the economic and social life of our capital city of almost two million people. It must therefore function reliably efficiently and safely. To ensure these crucially important parameters of electric transport and it is necessary to address issues related to work aesthetics and workplace parameters of locomotive engineers in the underground railway. There is a need to improve the comfort of the drivers by minimizing various distractions such as cabin lighting, noise, vibration, etc. These factors can affect concentration and reaction times, respectively, and can be the cause of errors. Cabin illumination is an underestimated factor, but on the underground (metro) it varies widely due to the fact that there are alternating open sections with very strong daylight and sections (in the tunnel) with negligible illumination. Due to the constant alternation of too high contrast and brightness levels with too low ones, a constant readjustment of the eyes is necessary, which in turn leads to a general fatigue of the metro machines
