CHARACTERISTICS AND APPLICATION OF THE METHODS OF CUTTING PREPARATIONS FROM MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AND INSTRUMENT MANUFACTURING

The article is applied in nature, comparing the advantages and disadvantages of cutting methods related to mechanical engineering purposes, incl. and road construction and road transport equipment. Through comparison, the specificity of the methods and their features in terms of efficiency, precision and applicability are reflected. Special attention is paid to laser cutting and the parameters determining the desired quality of the cut in terms of its accuracy. This was done by defining two problems, where the results were analyzed after the calculations were performed.
