IDENTIFYING THE CHANGE OF ALLOYING ELEMENTS IN HEAT-RESISTANT STEELS ON THE PROPERTIES OF NITRIDED LAYERS
Nikolay Tonchev Iliya Zyumbilev Velichko Machev Valentin Gaidarov The influence of chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, vanadium and silicon on the wear resistance and hardness after nitriding of heat-resistant steels ВН11 and ВН21 was examined. Additionally, the influence of alloying elements on the thickness of the bonded zone and the nitrided layer is considered. The analysis was performed through the process of modeling and optimization. Mutually acceptable modes common to steels of the class are defined.
