Modern automobiles are distinguished by high demands on power, economy, and environmental efficiency of the engine. Achieving these ments is the main goal of automobile manufacturers, and a criterion for consumers. On the other hand, the power, economic and ecological parameters of the automobile have a close relationship and can be changed, both during the production and during the technical operation of the vehicles. Their determination is often associated with different methods that give information about the general technical condition of the car. One of these methods is the measurement of the acceleration of the automobile, which is a direct indicator of the power of the engine and the rating of the car. In the article, a method for evaluating the technical condition of the automobile by its acceleration is discussed.
