The Green Deal has become a major EU policy priority in the fields of environment, energy, industry, transport and research, setting the ambitious goal of achieving zero emissions by 2050. Against this background, transport companies are taking the necessary measures leading to positive change, but for Bulgaria at the national level it is important to participate in international forums and initiatives supporting the development of transport and especially the transport infrastructure. The object of this report are the participations of our country in the international organization ”Black Sea Economic Cooperation” and in the two initiatives ”Bulgaria on Three Seas” and ”One Belt - One Road”. Of great importance is the full absorption of significant European funds, for which the state must implement vital infrastructure projects and co-finance their construction, but also the search for new sources of funding.
