Basic Equations For Spatial Static Analysis Of The Thin Circular Beam

In this paper the starting groups of statical, geometrical and physical equations of a spatially loaded thin elastic circular beam with an arbitrary cross section are generalized. The beam is placed on a generalized three dimensional elastic foundation of a Winkler.s type and it is subjected to arbitrary distributed forces, moments and temperature actions. One of the basic approaches of the theory of elasticity is applied and the governing equations for the displacements and formulae for the internal forces of the beam are derived and analyzed. They serve as a base for spatial static analysis of the circular beam and ring by different methods in a very general linear formulation.
