TRAFFIC PROFILE AND INCIDENTS IN THE BULGARIAN MARITIME RESPONSIBLE SEARCH AND RESCUE REGION (BMRSRR)
Emil Jelezov The article presents the results of analyzes of traffic, the risk profile of ships as well as the accidents in BMRSRR aiming at pre-project research for the project “Development and implementation of an integrated information system for real-time coordination and management of disaster and accident operations in BMRSRR” assigned by Executive Agency ”Maritime administration” (EAMA). Traffic analysis s a study of its structure, dynamics and trends, as well as the factors that determine them. The risk profile of vessels in the traffic structure is determined on the basis of the criteria set out in the Paris Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control (Paris MoU). The analyzes of the incidents in BMRSRR leads to conclusions about their location, type of vessels, severity and presence of injured people.
