IMPACT OF SUPPLY CHAINS ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Ivo Veselinov Yotsov Supply chains cover industrial groups, cross borders, have a wide geographical
distribution and operate in close cooperation and are an effective mean to improve the environmental, social and economic performance of companies and various industrial sectors in the long run, and are therefore important factor for the implementation of the concept of sustainable development. This is the reason why the problems related to risk management in the supply chains and ensuring their integrity and sustainability are essential for the development of the societies. Challenges to the sustainability of supply chains highlight two groups of sources of confusion in risk management. The first is confusion is from the scope of the supply chain management. The second is the very nature of the risk. The sustainability analysis should take into account four levels - processes and flows, assets, behaviour and environment. вериги за доставки устойчивост риск устойчиво развитие УВДsupply chains sustainability risk sustainable development SCMIvo Veselinov Yotsov BIBLIOGRAPHY [Online] 24 April 2020.
