STUDY IMPACT ON THE INDIVIDUAL RISK OF THE COMPARE-SELECT DEVICE WITH THE MAJORITY SYSTEMS

The aim of the proposed work is to study the impact of the set of reliability and safety parameters of an exemplary ensure system on individual risk (IR). In accordance with the ments of EN 50126, a study has been carried out on the impact of reliable and safe parameters of structure with intra-structural quasi-safety and macro-structural fault-tolerance on the IR for the participants in the transport process.

Since the ensure system implementation can be a structure with intra-structural quasi-safety and macro-structural fault-tolerance (and its parameters), the purpose of the study is to determine the impact of such a structure on individual risk, as illustrated by a formal ratio.

In this way the relationship between structural parameters (failure intensity and recovery intensity) and the individual risk generated by a structure with intra-structural quasi-safety and macro-structural fault-tolerance (assumed assumptions) are examined.

The results obtained show the dependence of the IR on the intensities of the failures and the intensity of the restoration of the majority system.

The development contributes to the fulfillment of the ments set out in the European norms by calibrating the parameters of the majority system against the IR under changing conditions.
