The report are researches some philosophical problems of technical reliability in the modern information society. Under-Hold the opinion, that the information society is in an unpleasant and inevitable crisis in terms of the reliability of technical and transport devices and systems. Whether we like it or not, we will have to reconcile, live and work with this thought, as well as with the categories and concepts of this problem. To do this, however, in order to be the technical and reliable crisis always under control (the example of the nuclear power plant in the focal point of Japan) and in order not to grow to the scale of a worldwide catastrophe s a lot of conditions and in the first place the elimination of several Firmly rooted public-technical illusions. For example, reliability is not always relevant to safety and very often high security, partnerships with moderate reliability. Reliability expresses what can be called the behavior of typical products in typical circumstances. In terms of destabilizing external factors, reliability issues give basic attention to the nominal values, the solving problems of resistance – to the elevated values and the solving problems of endurance are related to the border parameter values of the devices.

Such a distinction is not an end in itself. It defines the different ways by which it is most appropriate to move towards the objectives set. The awareness of these differences shows not only the supposed competence, but also what can be called a culture of the management of science and industry in the broadest sense of this word.
