The report examines and analyzes the application of the ”Six Thinking Hats” Methods in Seminars on disciplines “Transport Technology” and “Braking Systems and Train Traction”, conducted with students from “Industrial Management”, “Transport Technology and Management”, “Transport Economics” specialties. The necessity to applying innovative training methods to the students at Todor Kableshkov Transport University Sofia has been substantiated. The essence of the method and its features are presented. The main features of the separate hats are listed and described, emphasizing that the color of the hats is important in this case. The adaptation and application of the method for the training of students from different disciplines at the Todor Kableshkov Transport University was presented. The technology of conducting the exercises, how to prepare the teacher, the distribution of the hats, the time frame, the organization of the learning environment are described. The results of the occupation are presented, the positives of the discussion and the progress of the students are indicated, and recommendations are formulated to overcome the difficulties in applying the method. In conclusion, an assessment of the using the method and the positives received from such training from the point of view of the learners and from the point of view of the educational process is performed.
