By analyzing the peculiarities in the structure and scope of transport statistics and the presented feature of content management systems, the applicability and functionality of the WordPress web-based software product for creating, storing and using a transport database is justified. The need to store and use databases in global world at a rapid pace places web-based software as an alternative to expensive traditional software products
