![]() CONFIGURING AND SETTING OF A VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM
Emiliya Dimitrova In this paper, the use of the software product IP Video System Design Tool for setting the location, parameters and characteristics of cameras and recorders is shown. The use of this software product increases the efficiency of the system while lowering costs finding the best camera locations. It also gives opportunity for precise calculation of the camera lens focal length and the field of view of each camera. Dead zones can be minimized and the security level of the premises using 2D and 3D modeling can be increased. The d network bandwidth for any number of IP cameras and video recorders, as well as the d HDD storage space for video archives can be also estimated.
