Making a financial and economic analysis of enterprises in the long run involves a number of difficulties and constraints. For example - lack of comparable financial-economic information, metamorphoses in the country”s currency measure. These difficulties and constraints are of interest in developing a universal empirical model for the financial and economic situation of a transport company. The model was developed on the basis of the ability to assess the economic viability of the enterprise at the analyzed and investigated time interval as well as on the basis of a component characterizing and assessing the efficiency of the enterprise management at the start of the survey period and at the end of the analyzed period.
