ANALYSIS OF THE CONDITION OF THE ROCK MASSIF FOR THE EXCAVATION AND SUPPORT OF THE TUNNEL PROFILE
Valentina Shehova, Nevena Babunska-Ivanova This report identifies the radius of the protective zone around the tunnel section as well as the resistance of the primary lining and the reinforcing ring. It has been developed a model of a rail tunnel using the GEO5 environment finite element method. The tunnel is implemented with the New Austrian Tunneling Method. The rock massif is modeled on the Mohr-Coulomb destruction criterion. On the basis of the analysis were obtained values of stresses, settlements, plastic deformations, etc. As a result has been made relevant inferences and conclusion
