ANALYSIS OF THE ECONOMIC SITUATION OF REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA – GUIDELINES AND PROSPECTS FOR DEVELOPMENT

The report aims to give a clear and accurate idea of the current state of the Bulgarian economy, to identify specific problems and to explore possibilities for their solution. For this purpose, a ten-year period (from 2006 to 2016) has been examined, using several indicators characterizing the macroeconomic situation in one country, namely gross domestic product, unemployment, etc. A comparative analysis of these indicators is made in Bulgaria and a Member State of the European Union.

At the end of the report, conclusions, guidelines and recommendations for increasing the competitiveness of the Bulgarian economy are made.
