The transport in the Bulgarian Republic is one of the main factors that affects the economics in the country. The marine transport has an important part in the transport complex in the country and it is used to deliver big cargos on long distances, which makes it a cheap, but slow transport mode. The main idea of the article is to review statistical data about all the cargos and exploitation environment in marine ports in Varna and Burgas, and also to examine the future tendencies in the development of the ports.
