THE HUMAN FACTOR IN ASSESSING THE EFFICIENCY OF COMPLEX MAN-MACHINE SYSTEMS IN TRANSPORT

The roles of HF in transport safety. A review of the different levels of safety, automation and training of road users. In the development of complex man-machine systems the problem is the need to assess the effectiveness of the system, ie the degree of implementation of the tasks entrusted to it.

The article discusses issues related to the evaluation accuracy of the data defining the efficiency of operation of the man-machine automated system for ensuring the safety of transport, in which data for performance of the set of ments determining the efficiency of the system is formed by personnel and can be prepared in automated mode. In assessing the effectiveness of such complex automated system in the work of taking part man and in which there can be automatically determine the correct implementation of mandatory procedures and ments that characterize its performance, a problem arises for the accuracy of the calculated efficiency score. Uncertainty related to the activities of the staff in such systems give rise to problems concerning the extent (how well) met the safety ments for each particular object of transport infrastructure, ie its relevance for defensibility (vulnerability) of the site.

An analysis of modern motor transport system as complex integrated object - a set of transport infrastructure, automobile transport companies and system management.
