THE IMPORTANCE OF THE DANUBE RIVER IN THE OPERATIONAL PROGRAM “TRANSPORT AND TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE”
Mira Zafirova The EU Strategy for the Danube Region is focused on finding a coordinated and long-term solutions to the socio-economic differences of countries in the Danube region. Danube passes through 10 countries which make up the backbone of Europe. The pool occupies its total 817 000 km2.
Operational Program ”Transport and Transport Infrastructure” (TTI) 2014-2020 is the sequel of OP ”Transport” 2007-2013 The development of OP ”TTI“ is based on a series of relevant documents in line with the applicable Community and national strategies and policies. It is based on the needs defined in the analysis of the current state of the transport sector in Bulgaria made for the purposes of the program. OP”TTI” Strategy 2014-2020 provides investments for the completion of major national and pan-European transport routes in the country.
