HYDROGEN - THE FUEL OF THE FUTURE

Miglena Slavova

In many respects, hydrogen is the perfect fuel. It can be prepared from water with the aid of various renewable energy sources. The product of oxidation is only water, i.e. no harmful emissions. When the energy of renewable natural resources is used to produce hydrogen from water, we obtain environmentally compatible energy systems.

Hydrogen can be used for all purposes for which conventional oils are being currently used, with the sole exception of the cases where carbon is particularly necessary. It can be converted directly into electricity using fuel cells, which are already applied in transport, as well as in stationary stations for electricity production.
