THE ROLE OF THE LOGISTICS IN THE SHORT SUPPLY CHAINS
Zlatin Trendafilov Functioning and development of short supply chains of delivery of food is offered as a model for development of the country side. With these types of deliveries, the number of agents between producer and consumer are reduced. The main costs associated with farmers’ chance to get better end prices appear to be transportation and storage. This paper examines the impact that these two factors have over the realization of the farmers’ production.
