Motor vehicle collisions (MVC) are a serious problem for Bulgarian healthcare, because they have direct effect on mortality rate and morbidity. A large percent of MVC can be considered avertible since they are a reflection of drivers’ behavior in the traffic. The decrease of the number of victims on the roads and the consequent losses should be sought in the change of certain factors, one of which is especially important- the drivers’ behavior. The main objective of this paper is to analyze accidents in Bulgaria.
