DYNAMIC STABILITY OF A FLUID-IMMERSED PIPE CONVEYING FLUID

Dimitar Lolov

In this paper is investigated the stability of a pipeline, immersed in fluid that is moving with a particular velocity. Numerical investigations for a particular pipeline are carried out. Conclusions are drawn on the influence of the velocity of transported fluid on the critical fluid velocity of the external flow at which the immersed pipe loses stability.
