DEFECTS IN RAILWAY SWITCH ELEMENTS
Darina Nitova Railway switches are the most complex component of the structure of the track. They are subjected to considerable strain and impact of rolling stock. Therefore, in operation they often receive defects. The report classifies the types of defects of switches and the reasons that cause them. Recommendations are given to prevent defects, and correct them with the methods of maintenance.
