MODELLING OF RAILWAY SENSOR FOR WEIGHING THE LOAD USING A PROGRAMME FOR 3D AND STRESS MODELLING

The increased loading of wheels of railway vehicles (both for each wheel and the differences between the wheels loads) has influence on the wearing out of the wheels and the railway road, reduces the restriction on cohesion, decreases the steering ability of the wheelsets and increases the danger of derailment. It is necessary to weigh the loading on the wheels both after completing repairs and during their exploitation (weighing the load in the time of motion of the vehicle).

The report discusses the creation of 3D models for inspection of the deformation and the tension of a rail, used as a sensor in the systems for loading of wheels of railway vehicles.
