Permanent cares about the condition of the tracks are essential importance for optimal interaction between the rolling stock and track. They are the basis for a long period of operation of the rails. The key importance in these track cares is grinding process. The report presents cases using grinding rails, subsequent costs and parameters that influence the cost. In this report we consider the estimation of the benefits of grinding rails.
