Main railroad trunk passing through our country, which will run trains at high speeds, will be Sofia – Plovdiv – Burgas. In the direction of Plovdiv – Svilengrad – Istanbul will also move accelerated international trains. They will carry passengers and makes intermodal transport. Some of these trains will pass through the tunnel under the Bosphorus to the Middle East. Direction of Sofia – Burgas, as well as Sofia – Dragoman – Serbian border, will be completely rebuilt, and the doubling and upgrading of railway line Karnobat – Sindel will complete.
