DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES ALONG THE RAILWAY LINE PLOVDIV – SVILENGRAD, RAILWAY SECTION HARMANLI – SVILENGRAD

In this report will be discussed the design of structures made by “Transportation facilities” department of “Transgeo” LTD. The total number of the facilities designed by the department is 73.

They can be classified by type as: reinforced concrete bridges, railroad overpasses, road underpasses, pedestrian underpasses, slab and pipe culverts, inverted siphons, tortoises’ and animals’ pipe crossings, rehabilitation of pedestrian underpass at Harmanli railway station, part of the rehabilitaion of steel bridge over Harmanlijska river.

All the facilities are designed in accordance with the ments of the technical specifications for interoperability and BDS EN.

In the report will be exported computing demands and specific features in the design of the facilities. Disadvantages of regulations and BS EN are specified which prevented and interfere with the design of infrastructural projects in transport.

There will be provided projects of complex framework structures.

Built facilities are illustrated with pictures.
