EVALUATION OF THE INFLUENCE OF THE MECHANICAL AND GEOMETRIC PARAMETERS FOR MEASURING AND CONTROL OF CYLLINDRICAL COIL SPRINGS

The various applications of these elastic elements widely used in practice introduce different ments for their usage in assempled modules. They can be classified in two principal subsets of parameters related to the connection dimensions and the static characteristics. This paper examines a model for quantitative evaluation of the influence of the geometric dimensions on the static characteristics. A method for evaluation of the uncertainty and precision of measurment of the coil spring dimensions is proposed.
