![]() ELECTRO-MAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY ANALYSIS OF ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS INCLUDING COMPACT FLUORESCENT LAMPS + ELECTRONIC BALLASTS
Simona Filipova-Petrakieva, Galia Georgieva-Taskova, Nikolai Matanov Elements with nonlinear Volt-Ampere Characteristics cause arising of the harmonics in the electrical circuit consist of discharge lamps and respective ballasts. Electronic ballasts limit the current through the lamp during its alighting period and at the same time it leads to generating the harmonics to the power supplying network. In the paper are analyzed different models Compact Fluorescent Lamps (with electronic ballast) with respect to the electromagnetic compatibility taking into account the standards defined by International Electromagnetic Compatibility (IEC) for the RMS values of the harmonics compared to corresponding for the main harmonic in frequency 50 Hz. It is analyzed the variation of the supplying voltage and the current through the lamps in time and frequency domains for 7, 8, 9, 15 W compact fluorescent lamps and 20 W, as well as one 23 W without electrodes lamp.
