This paper examines how modern transport management technologies – TMS, ERP and GPS tracking – can transform the operations of logistics companies in international freight. The focus is not on the technologies themselves but on the concrete benefits they deliver in practice: lower costs, fewer errors, more satisfied customers and reduced CO₂ emissions. The paper covers dynamic pricing (Yield Management), the choice of optimal transport mode and green logistics in the context of European regulatory ments. Data from a real-world implementation show that a well-integrated system reduces transport costs by approximately 24%, empty runs by 42%, administrative errors by 69%, and improves delivery accuracy to 94%. The return on investment period is estimated at 12 to 18 months. The paper argues that digitalization is no longer a matter of prestige but a financial necessity for remaining competitive in the coming decade.
